The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces announced in a statement that the counterterrorism units in the SDF managed to thwart a Turkish intelligence plan aimed at creating chaos in the Autonomous Administration areas, by introducing large quantities of weapons and explosive materials into the city of Raqqa.
According to the statement, the counterterrorism units in the SDF managed to seize quantities of weapons and explosive materials, which were prepared by the Turkish intelligence in the occupied city of Tal Abyad, and then transferred to the city of Raqqa, to be used in terrorist operations, in an attempt to strike the stability of the Autonomous Administration.
The statement clarified that among the weapons that were seized, eighty-three explosive devices intended for detonation, an "AK-47" weapon, in addition to large quantities of individual weapons and ammunition.
