Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said that Ankara was ready to address US concerns that the fifth-generation F-35 fighters could not be compatible with the Russian S-400 missile systems.
Akar said that excluding Turkey from the "F-35" program led to risks related to the production of important aircraft components, the production schedule and the cost.
It is noteworthy that the deliveries of modern Russian air defense systems "S-400" to Turkey began in mid-July 2019, and caused a crisis between the United States and Turkey.
