On Sunday, a hospital in Syria and official Turkish media reported that 5 people were killed and 85 wounded in a car bomb attack in Azaz, northwestern Syria.
The Anatolia news agency reported that the accident took place in the village of Sjo, on the border with the southern province of Kilis, adding that 15 injured people were taken to hospitals in Turkey, some of them in critical condition.
Azaz is under the Turkish-backed groups since the first incursion into Ankara in Syria in 2016, in an operation aimed at expelling Kurdish fighters from its southern border with Syria.
