In light of the talk about a possible attack for which the Turkish regime and the forces of the Accord Government are preparing to target the cities of Sirte and Al-Jafra, the director of the Department of Moral Guidance of the Libyan Army, Khaled al-Mahjoub, confirmed the army's ability to fend off any possible attack by the Turkish regime targeting the two cities.
On the Parliament's invitation to enter the Egyptian army to Libya to protect the Egyptian and Libyan national security, Al Mahjoub commented, saying that Egypt's security is from the security of Libya, and that the two countries share a real interest.
The military official affirmed that Egypt is the true partner of Libya to protect the legitimacy and wealth of the country, noting that its presence in the country is a natural matter, because what is happening affects its national security, he said.
The statements of the director of the Department of Moral Guidance of the Libyan Army came after some media circulated news that the Turkish regime and Al-Wefaq government forces had mobilized nearly ten thousand Syrian mercenaries in the vicinity of the cities of Sirte and Al-Jafra.
And the spokesperson for the Libyan army, Ahmed Al-Mesmari said earlier that movements of Syrian government and mercenaries' forces affiliated with the Turkish regime have been monitored towards the cities of Sirte and Al-Jafra, and that the next battle will not only be Libyan, but will involve security and foreign parties The whole area.
